Sky Sports Secures UK & Ireland Broadcast Rights for UTS London Grand Final
The agreement, facilitated by SPORTFIVE, underscores the agency’s commitment to growing innovative sports entertainment properties and delivering premium live sporting experiences to leading broadcast partners.
Created to appeal to new and existing tennis audiences, the UTS format features a dynamic and dramatic twist on traditional tennis:
Eight elite players competing across two round-robin groups
Top four advance to the semi-finals
Players are guaranteed a minimum of three matches each
Finalists will contest five matches over three days
Matches consist of four 8-minute quarters, with timing paused during 3-minute breaks
First player to win 3 quarters wins the match
If tied 2–2, a dramatic ‘Sudden Death’ decider determines the winner
This innovative format delivers fast-paced, high-drama tennis designed for both live audiences and broadcast viewers.
UTS is a truly innovative property that challenges the traditional tennis format while delivering high-energy, entertaining competition for a broad audience. Sky Sports is the ideal partner to help elevate this event in a key market, and we are confident that UK and Irish viewers will embrace this fresh take on the sport.

British favourite Jack Draper returns to UTS following his 2023 title-winning performance, giving home fans the chance to support him on UK soil.
